Trust is a process you can inspect, not a badge we hand out
Every opportunity on HIXO carries a verification level. Here is what each level means, what we check, and — just as importantly — what we do not claim.
Five levels
The HIXO verification ladder
Levels are cumulative. An opportunity at Level 4 has passed every check below it.
Listed
Information submitted by lister; unverified.
The opportunity has been submitted to HIXO by the lister. No independent checks have been completed at this level.
- Listing submitted
- Contact details captured
Business Verified
Legal / business identity and basic credentials checked.
HIXO has checked the legal identity of the listing entity and basic operating credentials such as registration and tax identifiers.
- Entity registration
- GST / tax identifier
- Authorised signatory
- Operating address
Opportunity Verified
Commercial opportunity terms and territory information checked.
HIXO has reviewed the commercial terms of the opportunity — fees, setup cost heads, territory rights and support commitments — against the brand's own documentation.
- Fee and cost structure
- Territory availability
- Agreement summary
- Support commitments
Financially Reviewed
Specified financial claims / documents reviewed under a defined methodology.
Specific financial claims made in the listing have been traced to supporting documents under HIXO's review methodology. This is a documentation review, not an audit.
- Audited or reviewed financials
- Unit cost schedule
- Claim-to-document trace
- Royalty basis
Performance Evidence
Operating evidence, references or performance information available.
Operating evidence from existing units, partner references or performance information is available for review, shared with the consent of the operating partners.
- Existing unit evidence
- Partner references
- Consent on record
- Performance data window
Verification confirms evidence reviewed by HIXO. It does not guarantee business performance or profitability.
Honest boundaries
What HIXO does — and what HIXO does not do
What HIXO does
- Structures and standardises opportunity information so it can be compared
- Verifies brand identity and documents through a published five-level process
- Scores opportunity quality and personal fit using rules and weights we publish
- Qualifies enquiries before brands see them, and shares the fit reasoning both ways
- Tracks the deal and post-deal performance so quality scores stay evidence-based
What HIXO does NOT do
- Guarantee profitability, revenue, payback or business success
- Provide investment, legal, financial or tax advice
- Act as a broker for securities or an underwriter of any offering
- Replace your own commercial and legal due diligence, or your advisors
- Hold, transfer or escrow deal funds between seekers and brands
Your data
Seeker profiles are shared with a brand only when you request an introduction, and only as a structured fit summary. Contact details are released after the brand accepts.
Estimates and projections
Unit economics are calculators driven by assumptions you can edit. Outputs are illustrative scenarios, not forecasts, commitments or offers.
Reporting a concern
Any listing can be flagged for review. HIXO can suspend a listing, downgrade its verification level, or remove a brand from the network.
